The Zinfandel vines are planted on the slopes of the canyon on St. George rootstock. Replants are on 110R. Approximately 75 Petite Syrah and 36 Primitivo vines are scattered throughout the Zin for complexity and color. Replants are on 110R. The Syrah stretches along the ridge. It is Durell clone on 3309 rootstock. Replants are also on 110R rootstock. The Grenache is the block just north of the barn. It was budded over in 2011 from Syrah on 3309 rootstock. The Viognier lies in two small blocks along the north side of the Syrah. It was budded over from Syrah in 2011 from 3309. The buds were FPS 01 certified. The crop is primarily purchased by Adobe Road on a two year evergreen. All grapes in 2014 will be priced at $3150/ton with a single $750 additional payment to cover transportation costs.
